***Order processing: We cannot process your order without a valid email address All Vintage Sales are final - Please be sure of your purchase, email us with any questions before ordering.
***Item descriptions: We give very accurate descriptions of our items and any possible flaws. We describe what we would want to know if we were buying the item. Please email and ask us any questions, if you'd like to know anything more specific about an item. We stand behind the quality and the descriptions of our items. There are no returns for size or color and there are no exchanges or store credits.
***Shipping: We ship on Monday - Friday mornings by US mail. Within the US - Priority mail usually takes 2 to 4 business days, First class is 5 to 7 business days and Parcel Post mail is 7 to 10 business days. We cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date, it is in the hands of the Post office once we leave it with them. Guaranteed 2 Day delivery is available, email us for cost (usually $20-up). We do not use FedEx or UPS, sorry. We always email you on the day that your order ships to let you know that it is on it's way, with an estimate of delivery time. Insurance is for your own protection. All items are packed with care. We are not responsible for uninsured items that are lost or damaged in the mail. If needed, we will file any neccessary claims, but we do not pay any compensation.
***Payments: We prefer payment by money orders or Paypal. PayPal is now set up where you do not have to be registered with them to use the service. We will ship anywhere in the world.
***Shipping: All domestic packages will be shipped via USPS Priority (unless specified otherwise). All packages will have a tracking number. All international packages will be shipped by FedEx, UPS or DHL. We no longer ship international packages by USPS. This is because we have no way to track international packages through USPS. The only way to track international packages is through FedEx, UPS or DHL because they are all global companies and have their own tracking system. We apologize if this is an inconvenience to you however, it is for everyone's protection. Fee free to contact us regarding international shipping if you have any additional questions.
How do I place an order - Where do I mail payment? *** You must go to any of the pages labled "Shop". Each page will list all of our items that we currently have in stock and available in that specific category. You can add each item by clicking on the shopping cart icon. If you choose to email us with your order - please include item number and description. We will give you our address when you place your order. Payments are to be made out to Heather Lewis. Your order will be held for you for 7 business days, payment is due within that time. If payment isn't received by then, the item will be taken off of hold unless you let us know of any delay in sending payment.
What payments do you accept? *** Money orders or credit card payment through PayPal (International customers must pay via Paypal - no exceptions). There will be a service charge for PayPal payments on orders under $20 (for cash transfers or credit card) If you send us a money order, or use PayPal, your order will go out on my next mailing day after we receive the payment. We do not take credit card payments directly. Please do not send us your credit card number.
What is PayPal, How does it work? *** PayPal is free to join and their service is also free for buyers. You register with them and they store your credit card info. When you want to make a purchase with a registered PayPal seller (like us). We will send you a link with your email orderform. You just log onto PayPal's site through that link and send the amount of the order. You can also transfer money from your checking account into your PayPal account to use for payments instead of your credit card. Once the amount is approved, the funds are transferred to us. Very simple. We do not take credit card payments directly. There will be a service charge for PayPal payments on orders under $20 (for cash transfers or credit card)
Why do you say you are not responsible for lost or damaged packages?***We are not responsible for the package once it is out of our hands. We encourage insurance for all purchases however, if you choose not to purchase insurance we will not be held liable for your item once it has left our possession.
What is your return policy?*** We typically do not grant returns on items, especially items that do not fit. We use a modern American sizing chart and provide accurate measurements. Please refer to our sizing chart for more information on sizing. If you have a question about fit, buy a measuring tape or contact us directly with questions. We carefully inspect our items and note any damage however, we may accidentally miss something. Our items are vintage and have had previous owners. Please take this into consideration when purchasing. Thank you!
