The bodice and sleeves of this dress are made of a wine colored knit fabric that has stretched. The dress has an empire waistline and the dress has a nylon underlining with a sheer chiffon outer skirt that starts at the waistline and goes down to the hem. The waistline area is ruched on the sides and gathered in the front and back. The bust area criss crosses and is cut into a "vee". There's a nylon zipper closure at centerback. The measurements are as follows: Bust: 34", possibly 36" due to stretch of fabric Waist: 27", possibly 28 due to stretch of fabric Hips: 38-40" Length from centerback neck to waist and waist to hem: 16"/43" Shoulder to shoulder: 16" This dress is in good condition. The fabric is of a heavier weight quilted looking waffle weave cotton fabric. The fabric has really amazing vibrant colored items screen printed all over from head to toe. The waist has an amazing navy satin panel that has silver rick-rack trim adorned with rhinestones and pearls. The dress is sleeveless. The bust is darted in the princess seam area. The upper back has a keyhole cutout. There's a hook and eye closure at the top of the dress at centerback and there's also another hook and eye just at the mid to lower back area as well as a zipper closure. The dress is fully lined and the previous owner has inserted a 1/2 bra for the bust area. What a super great vintage 60s crepe mini babydoll dress by Sakowitz (there's no other label inside). This dress is a small. The inner fabric layer is made of some type of rayon blend. The outer layer is a brightly colored thin crepe chiffon type of fabric that is sort of tie dyed with very bright, mod colors. The dress is sleeveless and scooped in the back. There's a rosette at the centerfront bust. There are three button closures at the top of centerback and a metal zipper just directly below the buttons. The dress has an empire waistline. Bust: 34" Waist: 34" Hips: 37" Length from centerback to waist and waist to hem: 3"/22" This dress is in fair to good condition. There are no rips or tears. The color on the under layer of fabric greatly varies all over however, this is under the chiffon layer of fabric and not noticeable on the outside. The outer layer of chiffon has random little discoloration spots as well as a few very small holes in random places (these are really only noticeable if you hold the chiffon up to the light). I have not tried to clean or soak the dress yet and I don't know if the spots on the outside of the chiffon will come out or not. This dress is cute and wearable as is however, it does have these little issues.
