*LACE WIGGLE*50s 60s Vintage Dress & Overshirt $35.00 (+ postage of $7.00) What a super cute and simple vintage late 50s early 60s dress and matching overshirt by Foley's (store that used to be open here in Houston), size medium. The dress is made of a blue silk fabric and is lined. There's a metal zipper and hook and eye closure at centerback. The bust is darted. The dress has a lace overshirt that goes over the dress, if you choose to wear it. The dress looks totally cute w/o it. Bust: 38" Waist: 35" Hips: 42" Length from centerback neck to hem: 40" This dress is in good condition. There are no rips or tears. There are a few rust spots on the left shoulder from a straight pin that was left in to pin the dress to the hanger. I guess over time, the pin rusted. I pulled the pin out prior to taking pics and noticed the four smaller rust spots with pinholes. The hook at the back of the neck is also rusty and needs replacing. The zipper works perfectly fine and is not rusted. The rest of the dress is in really good vintage condition! The dress is made of a medium weight khaki colored rayon acetate fabric. There are wooden buttons at centerfront. There's a fabric covered belt at the waist. The sleeves are 3/4" length and cuffed at the hem. Kick pleat at the centerback hem. Vintage size 12, but go by measurements below: Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 14.5" Bust: 34" Waist: 27" Hips: 36" Length from centerback neck to waist and waist to hem: 16.5"/25" This dress is in good condition. There is a discoloration line on the shoulder seams on both sides (from storage).  There's also a bit of discoloration on the fold of the collar. It's not ring around the collar because it is only in the back and extends out on the back of the collar (I also think this is from years of being stored in the closet). The same type of discoloration is also on the backside of the sleeves (it's a slightly darker color than the color of the garment). This same issue also appears on the skirt near the side seams on the front. I honestly think this will come out with proper cleaning. It may not, but I have faith! The dress is pink chiffon-type of fabric, pink tulle, and an acetate type of fabric and a satin type of fabric. The upper bodice is boned. The dress has little spaghetti straps. There's a "bunch" of faux flowers with rhinestones attached at the bust area. There's a metal zipper closure at centerback. There are multiple tiers of ruffles at the skirt part of the dress. The measurements are as follows: Bust: 34" Waist: 27" Hips: Open Length from centerback to waist and waist hem: 6"/43" This dress is in good condition. The only flaws to note is that there are a few very light discoloration spots on the satin type of fabric at the waist under the first layer of fabric. There is also a very teeny tiny hole in the same area that looks like it started due to a snag in the fabric. There are also quite a few, very small holes throughout the skirt (outer fabric) in random places. These are truly (in my opinion) only visible upon close inspection. Lastly, the very very bottom hem is slightly dirty in a few places. I am being extremely picky and you honestly cannot see this unless you look for it. The fabric is made of a medium weight navy colored nubby silk. The upper front bodice neckline and back bodice neckline are both cut into a deep "vee". There are red and off-white fabric sliced panels in this area. The sleeve hems are also trimmed in off-white. There's a metal zipper and two hook and eye closures at centerback. The sleeves are short with gussets in each armhole. There's a matching fabric belt at the waist. There's a slit at the centerback hem. The measurements are as follows: Bust: 38" Waist: 28" Hips: 38" Length from centerback neck to waist and waist to hem: 12.5"/26" Shoulder to shoulder: 16" Sweep: 40" This dress is in good condition. I cannot find any rips, holes or tears.
