*WWII WIGGLE*40s Vtg. Ann Fleischer Ribbon Dress $95.00 (+ postage of $11.00) Up for your consideration is a great vintage 40s ribbon dress by Ann Fleischer, size medium. I must first say that this dress is so pretty. I was going to put it in my store inventory for a much higher price however, it may sit there for awhile. I am hoping that someone who loves vintage ribbon dresses will see this dress and just have to have it. I have two others that I will be adding soon. Please check back often. This particular dress is made of woven ribbon which I think is made of silk (don't quote me on that though). The dress/ribbon is navy in color. The dress has a notched collar with satin trim and a satin tie at centerfront. There's a metal zipper closure at centerfront. There's a matching ribbon belt at the waist. The measurements are as follows: Bust: 40" Waist: 30" Length from centerback neck to waist and waist to hem: 19"/29" Shoulder to shoulder: 16-17" Hips: 40-42" Sweep: approx. 50" This dress is in good condition. I cannot find any rips, tears, holes. The inner/outer collar has a bit of lighter discoloration. I don't know if the ribbon is actually discolored from age or if it just needs to be cleaned. I've tried to find snags in the ribbon, etc. and cannot find any. Despite the few small issues this garment has, it's still an amazing piece!! The outfit is made of a super lightweight khaki colored rayon crepe fabric. Trimmed in gold and orange rick rack trim. Side metal zipper on top and skirt. 3/4 length dolman sleeves. Full circle skirt. Vintage size 14 Bust: 38" Waist: 28" Hips: Full Skirt length from waist to hem: 29" Good condition! Some light discoloration spots on the middle to lower part of the skirt (not terribly noticeable because the fabric has a crinkled effect to it).
